won’t there be some nasty chemicals leeching from the styro into the water which then enters the plants which you then eat? I would like to know of a diferent ‘holder’ that is all natural — like a clay board or something?

    if growing things …
if growing things like lettuce you can cut the cost by putting little holes all over the styrofoam and inserting cotton balls with a lettuce seed in them. and instead of the fish tank and stuff to cover the sides one can get a rubber maid container. I have to give this video and extra star because it doesnt claim to be aeroponics.. this more of a water culture system.. and works great for plants that love lots of water, those that dont like alot of water can suffer…

that way the whole fishtank and foam
can stay in the shop, and you can grow your own stuff without toxic chemicals-
