it’s just to moniter water level, i use it because it’s so much easier to know were to fill, and some believe that it has a benificial air flow to the water reservoire, it’s not neccesary but some prefer it

Is the EcoPlus 264 a good pump.. im kinda scared of my pump breaking on me while im on vacation, i have someone watching the plants, to balance Ph and nutrients and stuff like that,, im just worried

An EcoPlus264 …
An EcoPlus264 submersible pump is required otherwise, the poly cut-off nipple will NOT fit. Secondly, the PVC pipe tends to lean to one side because the suction mounts at the bottom of the pump do not remain fixed. After building 5 of these, I can ure you that they do promote aggressive growth. I recommend also mounting the PVC through holes on each side of the tote or building a stand to ensure stability. Make sure that the container is clean or the sprayers will become clogged.

For emptying the …
For emptying the tank/reservoir you can use water level tube, just release tube, pend it and let the water flow into any secondary container. Same whit checking ph.
Just for people that dont have too much space, one container is brilliant!

I have found that …
I have found that it is better to use a seperate resovoir as emtying the tank becomes hard and also checking the ph level when using all in one.
