animals produce co2, get some pets. they will eventually cost you more than just buying a co2 system from a grow catelog. whatever you do…dont run the exaust from your car, or any other motor…that emits carbon monoxide…not dioxide.

Cheapest safest way is to buy some dry ice every week and place it somewhere in your garden. Just make sure its in something insulated from the ground or it will cause frost/freezing problems on the plants it touches. But it will only cost you about 99 cents a pound to buy.
