I want fresh herbs for my kitchen
I got the AeroGarden as a gift last Christmas, and I coudln’t be happier with it. You have to pay attention to the water level and it will tell you when to add nutrient tablets….but that is pretty much the extent of the actual work you have to do with it. The herbs are high quality too….I am a chef and i think it freaking great!!

I kill everything. So I bought an herb kit at Home Depot and planted Basil, Chives, and parsley. The shoots grew very quickly and I was excited at first, but once they got to be about 2 inches tall, they stopped growing and haven’t done much since then. I blame myself, though. I’m sure it was something I did.
The cool thing about them was that the shoots would grow toward the sunlight at the window. I’d turn the dish every other day, and they’d all grow back the other way! It was neat to watch.

They look so good and easy on TV. I have not been able to get the herbs to grow to maturity. They look really good starting out and then the rot at base (stem) after about 2-3 weeks

Buy a grow light, and, some seeds, and, some pots instead, cheaper, better, and more satisfying.

I also have an aerogarten and some of the herbs have coun out better than other. Basil and mint seem to do really well but everthing else has been sub par but it may be partly my fault.
