Hello! I’m glad you …
o! I’m glad you also enjoy your herb garden. Here are basil tips. According to the National Gardening ociation, “Pinch the tip from the center shoot of basil after it has grown for 6 weeks to force side growth and prevent early flowering. If flower stalks develop, simply snip them off. Basil is programmed to initiate flowering when it has six pairs of leaves on a stalk. For maximum production per plant, cut it back to two leaves per stem, and dont let it grow past four pairs.”

I got Dill, Red …
I got Dill, Red Basil, Large Leaf Basil and Parsley in mine. Is it true I have to get rid of the flowers from the Basil or they’ll die? I actually want to expand the garden, but herb plants are hard to get here. The garden’s really handy.

You can buy seeds …
You can buy seeds at any home improvement or gardening center. I prefer to buy the herbs that have already been started in pots since our summers are shorter than most in California. Herbs are almost like weeds; they grow quickly!
